Girish Baluja

Mr. Girish Baluja is the COO - Corporate at Moser Baer India Ltd. He has
been associated with the company since 2005. He oversees Corporate HR,
Corporate R&D, Corporate Supply chain & Six sigma initiatives. His
responsibilities also include OM&T business (MBIL acquired this
specialized Optical Technology and R&D subsidiary of Phillips).
Prior to joining Moser Baer, Girish was associated with Hindustan Unilever
Limited for 20 years, where he worked as Business Head (New Business,
Laundry). In this capacity, his key responsibility was developing and
implementing a Business Model for exploiting a breakthrough-patented
technology and piloting the venture for the entire Unilever World.
Previous to this, Girish was working as Head (Personal Wash Regional
Innovation Center Asia region) at HLL, where his core responsibility was
"innovation" of company's Rs 2,200 crore-product portfolio in
India. Girish was instrumental in the turnaround of key brands and the
company's Personal Wash business.
Girish holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian
Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Girish enjoys reading, listening to music, solving crosswords and is a
sportsman at heart. He is married and has a son.
